- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) intends to procure a three (3) camera remote operating system to be installed/incorporated with the current equipment already located on Redstone Arsenal, AL in building 4545, the MSIC auditorium and control booth. This camera system shall integrate into the existing digital mixing system equipment, purchased previously, with monitoring for remotely controlling the 3 cameras for pan, tilt, zoom and focus. The current system consists of the following: WJ-MX50 (1) Professional Digital A/V Mixer; TM-A9U (4) 9" JVC Color Monitor; TM-A13SU (2) 13" JVC Color Monitor; Computer (1) Windows NT 4.0 Operating System; Mackie (1) 1402-VL2 Pro, 14 Channel Mic/Line Mixer; Extron (1) System 1402 VLZ Pro. Video tilting and recording shall also be included in this system. The contractor shall install/incorporate all equipment into a complete camera remote recording system. Cameras shall be mounted in designated areas and the remaining equipment shall be designed to fit in racks and floating shelves in the space provided in the control booth of the auditorium and be fully operational with equipment located in the control booth. The contractor shall purchase and include in the camera remote operating system the following: three Panasonic AW-E600- 1/2 3CCD DSP Camera, pan bayonet mount; three Panasonic AW-PH300A -- Compact indoor pan/tilt head; three Panasonic AW-PS300 -- Power supply for pan/tilt head; three Fujinon S19X6.5BRM4-P Fugi 1/2" 19:1 Zoom lens for AW-PH300A; three Panasonic AW-CA50T15-Lens control cable, 50 pin to 15 pin for AW-PH300A; one Panasonic AW-RP505-Hybrid control panel for 5 cameras (pan/tilt/zoom/focus control (hub required); one Panasonic AW-HB505-Multi port hub multiplexer required w/ AW-RP505; one Panasonic AW-PS505-Power supply for AW-HB505; one Panasonic AW-PS301-Power Supply for AW-RP505; one Videonics TM-3000-Video Titlemaker 3000; one JVC SR-TS1U (1) SVHS Hi-Fi Video Recorder/Player; one Gepco VPM2000 1000' PREC. 75ohm video cable; one 40 BNC-2025-51-9 -- BNC for VPM2000, 75ohm, Kings Gold center pin. The contractor shall completely install the above items and provide operation training to include a four hour operations training session on this system at the time of installation. The contractor shall include a one-year site warranty and maintenance for the complete system as installed with an option for additional years. The contractor shall provide a complete wiring diagram of the completed system. If proposing on other than specified equipment the contractor shall provide complete specifications and detailed plans for the integration of the system being offered and provide an on-site demonstration of this alternative system.
