- Description
- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for the United States Property and Fiscal Office for Tennessee (USPFO for TN), TN Army National Guard who has a requirement for 2000 Drip Mats to be delivered to the USPFO for TN, Houston Barracks, 3041 Sidco Drive, ATTN: Warehouse, Nashville, TN 37204. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The following specifications describe this requirement as needed to meet the government's minimum requirement. The Drip Mats must be able to absorb drips, seeps, and small spills of oil fuel and/or solvents. The drip mats at a minimum are to have absorbent material that has a lint free and tear resistant covering; be at least 20 inches wide x 28 inches long and weigh a minimum of 5 pounds; be no larger than 32 inches wide x 40 inches long x 6 inches high and weigh a maximum of 15 pounds; be capable of absorbing 2 gallons of petroleum based liquids; be mid-green to dark-green in color; be sufficiently robust enough to withstand being driven over by large heavy military vehicles without noticeable degradation; the absorbent material must be able to quickly absorb petroleum products without soaking up water (hydrophobic); must be weighted in such a way as to withstand 30-MPH wind without moving and fit behind the seat of standard military trucks Packaging: Must be packaged in a clear (see through), flexible re-closeable (zippered) container OR Encased in a tough, yet flexible case (if that is to be an integral part of the mat) this case must have drain holes to allow water/rain to pass through.
