Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation/synopsis is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) # 1CO-0295. This solicitation/synopsis and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-26. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 33421 having 1000 or less employees. The government intends to make a single award based on the lowest price offered. Past performance will also be evaluated. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes for: (1) Nortel M-5316 Digital Telephone, Black (New Only, REFURBISHED WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED), Quantity: 250 Each, (2) 12 Ft. 6C line cord, Quantity: 50 Each, (3) Power Adapter, Quantity: 50 Each, (4) 25 Ft. 6C Line Cord, Quantity: 50 Each, (5) 14 Ft. Handset Cord (black), Quantity: 100 Each, (6) 25 Ft. Handset Cord (black), Quantity: 25 Each. All Equipment must be Nortel Meridian Business Sets (MBS) due to proprietary equipment and signaling requirements. NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Quotations shall be FOB Destination (including shipping costs). Equipment shall be delivered to: Federal Bureau of Prisons, 320 First Street, NW, Rm. 112, Washington, DC 20534. Delivery shall be no later than 30 days after receipt of contract award, unless otherwise negotiated. FAR Provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. A copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items MUST be included with offers. FAR Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
