Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The invitation for bid document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-26. This is an unrestricted procurement. The Standard Industrial Code is "421610". The small business size is 100 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (VAAAC), Austin, Texas intends to procure the following assorted high voltage critical spare circuit breakers. The proposed circuit breakers must be a direct replacement for the existing installed circuit breakers and shall not require any modifications to electrical panels and/or equipment. All circuit breaker trip settings shall match the existing applicable circuit breakers currently in use, and shall include a testing and certification stamp. Contractor shall also supply to the VAAAC factory recommended torque settings for each of the bolted style circuit breakers. The proposal shall include a site visit to ensure that correct circuit breaker replacement purchasing is achieved.
