Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS), Boise, ID, intends to procure 2 (two) 7' X 14' camp trailers. Submit faxed quotations to "Purchasing Section," at (612) 370-2136. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE JULY 16, 2001, BY 10:00 a.m. local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. SPECIFICATIONS: Camp trailer shall be 7 feet x 14 feet, with an extra bed, 4 cubic foot refrigerator, propane 3 burner stove with oven 2 propane lights, 3 ten-gallon propane bottles-full, propane change over regulator, sink with hand pump and tank, forced air furnace, solar panel (self-regulating), 2 deep cycle batteries, 4 DC lights, Am/FM stereo, DC and AC outlets, rear electric brakes, tail lights, stop and turn lights, wood burning stove, sliding windows, outside entry wood box, heavy aluminum siding, angle iron on corners and around bottom, high wheel-base clearance for use in rocky, rugged terrain.
