Description

This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code 234990. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, and HUBZone certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. This project is located within the National Historic District at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office and the Federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation have approved the project drawings and specifications. The Base Historic Preservation Office must approve any deviations. This project involves the construction of three (3) softball fields with the corners of the field measuring 300? and center field 340? from the back of home plate. Also, 25? from foul line, a dead ball fence must be placed to connect with the outfield fence. Installation of an underground irrigation system to efficiently apply water to the turf of all fields shall be included. Bleachers and dugouts shall be included. Concrete pads must be used for the bleachers to be anchored on and to place dugouts on. Each field shall include a score keeper box tower with storage and electrical scoreboards. A men and women?s restroom shall be included. Each field will require electrical lighting. The performance period for the resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is ninety (90) calendar days. There is no winter exclusion period for this project. The cost magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00, with a cost limitation of $500,000.00. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 11 July 2001, with a closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal ? Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. This solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov.
