Description

The contractor shall provide all labor,material, equipment, transportation, and supervision to chemically clean three (3) 250 HP Cleaver-Brooks Boilers at Building 708 and three (3) 175 HP Cleaver-Brooks Boilers at Building 457, and two (2) 250 HP Kewanee Boilers at Building 476, Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, VA. All current MSDS documentation and safety certifications shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer 5 days prior to delivery to the work site. Boilers shall be cleaned with an aqueous hydrogen chloride (RYDLYME) for the removal of all iron oxide, silica, calcium and magnesium scale. The contractor shall follow APEX Engineering Products Corporation Specifications for use of RYDLYME. The contractor is responsible for neutralizing and clean up of all spills. The NAICS code is 235110 and the Size Standard is $11.5M. This solicitation is SET ASIDE for small business. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a firm fixed price contract. A site visit will be held on 18 July 2001 at 9:00 A.M.
