- Description
- The project consists of providing all labor, equipment, supervision, and material necessary for the construction of a vehicle washrack facility building and a recycler unit equipment enclosure building, and all related site work, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and structural items. Work includes but is not limited to, general construction of one pre-engineered metal building structure for use as a washrack, including associated site, mechanical, plumbing, structural and electrical work, and one pre-engineered metal building structure for use as a recycling unit enclosure including associated site, mechanical, plumbing, structural and electrical work. The Contractor shall also provide no less than eight hours of training by a factory qualified individual on the operation and maintenance of the wash and recycling system. The project is located at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, Shasta County, California. Contract duration is 90 calendar days. The price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System code is 234930 and the annual size standard is $27.5 million. This procurement will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the "best value" to the Government. The best value determination will be made on the basis of (1) quality and (2) price. The Government will assess the quaity of each offeror on the basis of (1) its past performance; (2) its experience; and (3) its qualifications and experience of key personnel. The Government considers an offeror's quality to be approximately equal to its price. THE SITE VISIT IS TENATIVELY SCHEDULED ON AUGUST 8, 2001 AT 10:00AM. The participants are to meet at the Whiskeytown NRA Park Headquarters in Whiskeytown, California. Requests for the solicitation package shall be in writing stating Request for Proposal No. R8750011471, with complete name, address and area code and telephone and facsimile numbers. Solicitation packages may be personally acquired from the Contracting Office or be requested by mail or fax. The facsimile number is (415) 427-1328. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. Mail solicitation requests to the National Park Service, Pacific Great Basin Support Office, Contracting Team, 600 Harrison Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107-1372. A limited number of solicitation packages will be available on or about July 17, 2001 at no charge and issued on a first-come-first-served basis. Only one solicitation package per company. Planholders list is only available through written request to the Contracting Office. Furnishing of planholders list via fax will not be available.
