Description

Work under this project consists of constructing an earthern plug in an existing channel; constructing a rock riprap chute on the downstream side of the earthern plug. Major items of work consist of of approximately 10,400 CY of excavation; approximately 1,300 CY of hauled earthfill; approximately 2,300 tons of rock riprap and 2,060 SY of geotextile. All work will be performed in Richland Parish, Louisiana. Contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract under NAIC 234990. This solicitation is not set-aside. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance time is 124 calendar days. Solicitation packages should be ready on/or about July 19,2001.
