Description

This project is 100% Small Business Set-aside. The work will consist of constructing asphalt paving(36%), irrigation well (24%), compacted gravel and mulched trails, landscaping and irrigation, extensive planting of native trees and shrubs, removal of invasive exotic plants(20%), and site utilities(20%). The contract performance period is 365 calendar days. The range is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS code is 234110. This contract will also include option items such as mulched trails, selective tree clearing, stone check dam and boulder piles. For the purpose of determining size, a small business is one whose gross annual receipt does not exceed $27.5M in a three year period. This solicitation will be issued electronically at no cost from the Nashville District Corps of Engineers Contracting Home Page at http://www.orn.usace.army.mil/contracting/. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be issued in late July 2001. Limited quantities of CD-ROM will be available. Contractors are encouraged to use the Nashville District Corps of Engineers homepage. All interested Small Business firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Register and must be bondable for amounts to cover amount of the contract when awarded. All pertinent information will be posted on our web site. Bid will be opened approximately late August.
