Description

FINANCIAL SPECIALIST The incumbent shall serve as Financial Specialist in the Department of Treasury?s Office of Technical Assistance. Incumbent shall perform accounting functions and related financial analyses to assist the Financial Manager in ensuring accuracy and timeliness of official accounting records and reports for projects and activities in the office. Experience with computer spreadsheets and database query procedures (EXCEL, LOTUS, and ACCESS) is required. Desired: Experience with Treasury?s Federal Financial System (FFS) accounting system and the National Finance Center (NFC) payroll database; knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations; experience with payroll processing. B.A. in accounting or related field is desired: 5 years of accounting or financial-related experience is desired. Salary range from $44,352-69,099 per year.
