Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to issue a sole source modification to contract N66604-98-D-4228 with Computer Sciences Corporation to increase the estimated level of effort by 42,000 hours to allow for continued performance until the competitive follow-on contract is awarded. Contract N66604-98-D-4228 is for engineering and technical services in support of the Navy Training Management Planning System (NTMPS). It was competitively awarded to Computer Sciences Corporation on 15 June 1998 with a five year period of performance. Program requirements have substantially exceeded those estimated at the time of award, thereby necessitating this modification. The follow-on competitive solicitation is expected to be synopsized on or about 05 July 2001 and is expected to be released on or about 20 July 2001. This notice is for informational purposes.
