Description

Medical Librarian Services, Naval Hospital, Whidbey Island, WA. Period of Performance a base year with four option ye ars. Services shall be to provide a full range of Medical Librarian services in accordance with contract specifications for the support of continued professional education, patient care and health/wellness education. The Medical Librarian serves the professional and allied health staff of the Naval Hospital and patients upon referral. The Government shall provide ie: the facilities, Building R80, Medical Library, Rooms 101 and 117, materials, equipment, computer access to various programs and, utilities for these services, in addition to security police and fire protection. The contractor shall furnish a port ion of the supplies not provided by the Government. The contractor shall be required to maintain specific supplies, equipme nt, furnishing, fixtures, and buildings other than those specified as Government-furnished. A Contracting Officers Represen tative shall have cognizance over the contract and the contractor shall comply with the reporting requirements. There are m inimum Personnel Qualifications which must be met. A single award will be made for the base year and four option years. Th is will be a web-posted solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to NECO website: Http://www.neco.navy.mil. No hard- copy solicitation or amendment documents will be distributed by the Government. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mai l the solicitation or any amendment thereto. Subsequent amendments to the solicitation, if any, will be promulgated ONLY vi a the NECO website, which is linked to FedBizOpps. Because this is a web-posted solicitation, a Solicitation Mailing List i s not maintained by the Government.
