Description

The National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to negotiate a sole source extension to an existing contract with SAIC, Reston, VA for the procurement of a continuation of systems engineering and systems integration services in support of the United States Imagery and Geospatial Information Systems (USIGS). This effort is for an additional one year period with two six months options which will be followed by a competitive action. This action is a sole source extension under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and is not a request for competitive quotes, however, responses received from responsible sources within fifteen days of this notice will be evaluated. Any responses should include the ability to provide at least 550 FTEs cleared at the TS/SCI level at contract award which is scheduled for 1 October 2001. See Note 22.
