Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Elkton), located in Elkton, Ohio, requires (3) Licensed Practical Nurses to perform on-site, nursing services for the inmate population. Each Contractor will conduct a maximum of thirty (1) hour sessions per week. Each session is defined as (1) hour in length and may be combined. FCI Elkton will furnish all routinely needed nursing supplies, and all reports will remain property of FCI Elkton. The Contractor will be responsible for the following: interpreting physician's orders, administering medication, assisting with medical inventories, performing vaccinations, doing clerical duties, gathering information, aiding the Pharmacist, and other duties as assigned. The services will be performed at the FCI Elkton Health Services Department. The project involves work inside the secure perimeter of the Federal Correctional Institution. The performance period will be the base year and two option years. This is a small business set-aside, restricted to small businesses eligible to receive award. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award.
