Description

The Government intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to the manufacturer, Litton Advanced Systems, Inc. Gaithersburg, MDS, to provide repair parts replacement maintenance for AN/FSC-92 Traffic Control Switching System. The corporation holds exclusive rights for the manufacturing layout, engineering data, and hookups with test bed assemblies to accomplish the required repairs and service. Contractor shall inspect, disassemble, rehabilitate, repair, refurbish, readjust, recalibrate and otherwise restore line replacement units (LRUs) to original operating condition and test to verify proper performance on an on-call basis. Contractor shall provide a 24 -hour, 7 day per week second level technical and engineering assistance service. The contract period will be for a base year plus one option year. See Note 22.
