Description

Preparation of a Biological Assessment (BA) for Section 7 Consultation under the Endangered Species Act (of 1973). Contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, travel, equipment, supplies, materials, and other incidentals, to complete a thorough programmatic BA for the Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis), Gray Wolf (Canis lupus), and Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) primarily in the Yellowstone Ecosystem within the state of Wyoming. The Project will assess impacts to these species for actions conducted on lands managed by or actions granted by the Bureau of Land Management -- in accordance with the statement of work. Work under this purchase order will take place primarily in the northwestern portion of the state of Wyoming, possibly working with up to eight of the ten BLM field offices. Contractor will need to have an extensive knowledge of these three species in the western U.S. and provide a summary of such experience. The Project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a 100% small business set-aside. A performance period of 180 calendar days has been established. With an estimated start date of September 1, 2001.
