Description

The work consists of surveying for red tree voles and collecting field data on approximately 400 randomly selected CVS plots. At each CVS plot approximately 10 acres will be surveyed for red tree voles using a line-transect survey method similar to the pre-disturbance survey protocol. The survey effort will include climbing of trees to verify red tree vole nests. Two bid items are anticipated based on geography. This is a five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity project. The total value of the contract will not exceed $1,000,000. Project sites are located within the range of the red tree vole and include the Salem, Eugene, Roseburg, Medford, and Coos Bay BLM districts and the Mt. Hood, Willamette, Umpqua, Siuslaw, Rogue River, Siskiyou, and Klamath National Forests, Oregon and California. Estimated issue date: July 16, 2001 See numbered Note(s): 1
