Description

Preparation of a Biological Assessment (BA) for Section 7 Consultation under the Endangered Species Act (of 1973). Contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, travel, equipment, supplies, materials, and other incidentals, to complete a thorough programmatic BA for Black-Tailed Prairie Dogs (Cynomys ludovicianus) throughout the state of Wyoming. The Project will assess impacts to black-tailed prairie dogs for actions conducted on lands managed by or actions granted by the Bureau of Land Management -- in accordance with the statement of work. Work under this purchase order will take place throughout the state of Wyoming, possibly working with up to six of the ten BLM field offices. Contractor will need to have an extensive knowledge of black- tailed prairie dogs and provide a summary of such experience. The Project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a 100% small business set-aside. A performance period of 180 calendar days has been established. With an estimated start date of April 1, 2002.
