Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency is contemplating award of a contract to Science Applications International Corporation, McLean, Virginia on a sole source basis for the Phase Out and Transition of the Radiation Experiments Command Center (RECC) operation. The RECC compiles by various means available, records and information concerning radiation experiments involving DoD personnel and receives information from the public by following up on inquiries. The period of performance will be one year. Orderly completion of current RECC activities and transition of remaining low level maintenance functions will be transferred to DTRA and other military service organizations. Objectives include but are not limited to: preparation and delivery of final copies of electronic documents and associated indexing and cataloging data to DOE for inclusion in the HREX system; preparation and delivery of RECC operation documents, case files and associated indexing and cataloging to the National Archives and Records Administration for preservation and storage; and preparation of documentation related to RECC database systems operation and related procedures for final transition to designated organizations within the DTRA.
