Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Environmental Technology Laboratory (ETL) located in Boulder, CO requires two VME-based DSP cards to be used with an UltraSPARC host and one set of development tools. These boards must meet the following minimum specifications: 1) Be fully compliant with the VME64 or VME64x bus standard. 2) Be contained on a 6U x 160 mm form factor. 3) Have a VME master/slave interface, MBLT/BLT, supporting the following address and data conventions: MBLT, A32, A24, A16, D64, D32. 4) Be based on the TI TMS320C6701 floating-point DSP technology. 5) Contain four DSP chips, operating at least at 167 MHz. 6) Have at least 8 MB of global RAM directly accessible from the VME bus. 7) Contain at least 16 MB of local RAM on each DSP. 8) Have the capability (as an option) of ingesting FPDP data, either through a native interface, or by the addition of a daughter card. Have software drivers for working with a Themis UltraSPARC IIi-3V host. Include all necessary software tools and licenses to develop code using C++ on a PC or UNIX host. The delivery time shall be less than 12 weeks after receipt of order. No RFQ package is available. Responses are due via mail or FAX by July 19, 2001. This announcement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. Estimated government cost is between $25,000 and $100,000.
