Description

Fabricate and deliver FOB destination two (2) wear sleeve assemblies for a 55-inch hydroelectric turbine shaft. This is a supply only; installation will be performed by the Government. The approximate sleeve dimensions are 57 inches in diameter, 9 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick. The wear band material shall be stainless steel and fabrication shall be from centrifugal process. The wear sleeve assembly shall be shipped with the half sections assembled. Contractor must be able to deliver within 90 days after receipt of award. Numbered Note 1 applies. The NAICS code is 332111 with a size standard of 500 employees. Solicitation will be posted on the Little Rock Contracting Division website (address below). Vendors are requested to register at the same website. The solicitation will not be available in paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when determined to be in the Government's best interest. All documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for submittal of offer will not be allowed. Solicitation will be available on or about July 9, 2001. Proposals will be due on or about July 18, 2001.
