Estimated Quantities are 648 Breech Assy's, with a maximum quantity of 1100, throughout the entire term of the contract to include option years. FOB is Origin. For use on the M242 gun. DESC: 1005-01-368-8280, Part Number 12524512, the item to procure is a Pin, Firing. Estimated Quantities are 6108 Pin, Firing, with a maximum quantity of 8500, throughout the entire term of the contract to include option years. FOB is Origin. For use on the M242 gun. ISO9003 inspection criteria is required. All of these actions are unfunded. The proposed contract will be a three-year requirements contract with two 1-year option periods. The government's award will be based on price and non-price factors. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Estimated issue date is 15 October 2001. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil.
