Description

Project includes crushing and spreading approximately 38,000 cubic yards of aggregate material (compacted volume) and reconditioning the existing roadbed including ditches on 19.6 miles of road; replacing and installing culverts; erosion control measures including sod; brush and minor tree removal; guardrail installation; sign placement and maintenance stockpiles (2,500 c.y. total). Project located on the LaCroix Ranger District, Superior National Forest, St. Louis County, MN. Desired date for starting work is September 20, 2001. Recommended completion date is September 1, 2002. Project range is $250,000 to $500,000.
