Description

Notice of availability of a prospectus for the award of a concession contract authorizing the operation of carriage rides, horse camp facility, day use facilities and services for visiting equestrians within Wildwood Stables, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine for a period of seven years. Operations are conducted from approximately May 15th to October 20th. All equipment, stock, personal property and inventories needed to operate shall be provided by the concessioner. Annual gross receipts for 1999 were $235,736.92. The Director, National Park Service, has determined pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51 that no preferred offeror for this contract exists. Offers are due September 18, 2001. Requests for prospectuses may be made to National Park Service, Acadia National Park, P. O. Box 177, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609, ATTN: Pauline Blanchard.
