Description

NIMA has a requirement for a full service maintenance agreement for five large-format, electrostatic printers, brand name 3M Scotchprint 2000 with SUN brand controller workstations. The maintenance shall be performed by 3M certified technicians. The printers are in five locations: Arnold, MO; Ft. Bragg, NC; Bethesda, MD; and Hickam AFB, HI. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, Imation Inc. Interested persons may identify their capability to meet the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. These services will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
