Description

The Umatilla National Forest is soliciting quotes for an indefinite quantity contract for the rental of equipment (i.e. excavator, dozer and dumptruck) with operator. The project is redistribution and/or removal of dredge mining tailing piles from the flood plain of Clear Creek. Project is located on the North Fork John Day Ranger District (Grant County) on the Umatilla National Forest approximately 2 miles west of Granite, Oregon. The dredge tailing piles proposed for removal or redistribution are found from the bridge crossing on 10 Road to approximately the 10 and 13 Road intersection. The project site is on the floodlain between the 10 Road and Clear Creek. Dump truck haul to a disposal site sould be within a few miles of the project site. Anticipated issue date of the Request for Quotation document is July 16, 2001 and quotes are due by close of business August 7, 2001.
