- Reference CBD Submission No. 50P9S0 posted on June 25, 2001. The following Amendment No. 0001 to synopsis/solicitation No. N62645-01-R-0015 provides clarifying answers to questions submitted by a prospective offeror. Questions and answers regarding the minimum requirements in the RFP: Reference 1) "The detector system shall be configured for positioning the patient horizontally...." Does this mean that the bed is to be included in the offer? Answer: The bed is included in the purchase. The Navy is procuring the entire system and will not utilize any component of the current system. Reference 2) "Control of the system shall be available from the exterior of the chamber." What access openings are currently available through the existing low background chamber? Please provide number and size of openings. Answer: The current system accesses through a port that can easily accomodate several coaxial cables. Reference 6) "The detector system shall be fit in the chamber such that access to the subject and equipment is not impaired." Answer: There is no current bed. The room is 8 ft. by 8 ft. by 8 ft. The response date remains NOON, 10 July 2001.
