Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division has a requirement for the following: (1) ea -- Ka (34 to 36GHZ) traveling wave tube amplifier (TWTA) intended for use as the transmitter in outdoor radar system. The TWTA will be operated in pulsed mode at duty cycles of 6 percent or less. Nominal output power will be 1-kilowatt peak. Nominal frequency coverage will be 34 to 36 GHz. This requirement will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract utilizing FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Delivery shall be FOB destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, 9500 MacArthur Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20817-5700. The NAICS Code is 335999, size code 500 employees.
