Description

The U.S. Army Military Distrcit of Washington Acquisition Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to perform all operations in connection with the construction of a new building, Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. This project will be Firm-Fixed price. Work consisted of, but not limited to, excavation, trenching, water distribution system, sanitary sewers, concrete for minor structures and sidewalks, masonry, metal fabrications, rough and finish carpentry, roofing, sheet metal, steel doors and frames, wood doors and windows, builder's hardware, glass and glazing, wallboard, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, carpet, painting, toilet partitions and accessories, fire detection and alarm system, plumbing, air-conditioning, heating, HVAC control systems to include testing and balancing, diesel gen set, and various electrical work. The magnitude is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS Code is 233320 with a size standard OF $17.0 million. The approximate release date is 26 July, 2001.
