Description

This project is a Request for Proposal to recondition existing roadbeds on the Shoshone National Forest, Park County, Wyoming. The proposed project consists of reconditioning existing single lane roadbeds. Plate the roads with pit run aggregate from Pitchfork Pit or other commercial source. Length of road reconditioning and plating under the Base Bid is 6.6 miles. If additional funding becomes available at the time of bid opening, contract award will include Additive Bid Items which could increase reconditioning and plating length to 13 miles. The proposed project is located at the Pitchfork Pit. At Meeteetse, Wyoming, take State Highway 290 and FDR 208 (Pitchfork Ranch) West to FDR 204 (Timber Creek). Go South on FDR 204 approximately 0.4 miles. The Pitchfork Pit (T46N, R102W, Sec 29) is on the right side of the road. The performance period for the proposed contract is 120 calendar days. The magnitude of the proposed project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This will be a firm, fixed-price contract. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition.
