Description

RFP-R6-8-01-30 Little Bridge Creek Culverts The Okanogan/Wenatchee National Forest seeks offerors for the removal of a large corrugated steel pipe arches from Government Lands (one at each site), installation of a large corrugated steel open bottom box culvert at each site. This project will involve the same kind of work at 2 sites approximately 2 kilometers apart. The sites will need to be dewatered before preparation of a foundation for the reinforced concrete footings needed to support the culvert. Erosion control measures will need to be implemented. After the culverts have been installed the disturbed road prism will be rebuilt and a crushed aggregate base course will be applied. All riprap, crushed aggregate, and the box culvert will be Government Furnished material. Location: This project is located on the Methow Valley Ranger District, of the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forests. From Twisp travel West on County Road 9114 approximately 8 miles to the junction with Forest road 4415. Turn right on road 4415 for approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left on Forest road 4415030 and travel approximatley 0.30 miles to the 4415030 project site. To get to the second site (4415100) follow the above directions to the junction with Forest road 4415. Turn right onto road 4415 and travel 2.9 miles to the junction with Forest road 4415100. Turn left on road 4415100 and travel 0.2 mile to the 4415100 project site. Contact Sam Hanan, 509-826-3071 for project site information and specification questions.
