Description

RFQ-R6-8-01-34- Buttermilk Culvert-The Okanogan/Wenatchee National Forests seeks offers for the removal of a large corrugated steel pipe arches from Government Lands, installation of a large corrugated steel open bottom box culvert. The site will need to be dewatered before preparation of a foundation for the reinforced concrete footings needed to support the culvert. Erosion control measures will need to be implemented. After the culverts have been installed the disturbed road prism will be rebuilt and a crushed aggregate base course will be applied. All riprap, crushed aggregate, and the box culvert will be Government Furnished material. Location. This project is located on the Methow Valley Ranger District, of the Okanogan/Wenatchee National Forests. From Twisp travel West on county road 9114 approximately 11 miles to the junction with county road 1091. Turn left and travel approx. 0.4 mile to the junction with Forest road 4300. Turn right road 4300 and travel approximately 3.4 miles. Turn right on Forest road 4300500 and travel approximately 0.10 miles to the 4300500 project site.
