Description

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) anticipates awarding an indefinite quantity type contract for armed and unarmed guard services in the Eastern Disrict of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia area). Guard personnel will be required to guard prisoners in medical facilities and within courthouse buildings and will also be required to guard seized property. The contract will be awarded for a base and four option years. The solicitation will be available on or after July 13, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site at "http://www.eps.gov". Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The EPS site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the EPS site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
