Description

This requirement is for design, installation, setup, and training for a computer controlled effects system for the MANSCEN museum on Fort Leonard Wood. The contractor will design the system; install the central computer system and software; install, configure, and setup devices required to achieve desired effects; install, setup, and configure physical and environmental security monitoring devices; train museum personnel on operation of the installed system. Some Government Furnished Property will be made available for use and incorporated into the overall system design. A Performance based, Commercial Item, requirements contract, with a base and one option year is anticipated. Delivery orders will be issued, which will identify the specific activities to be accomplished at any given time during the contract period. Contract award will be based upon the following factors: 1) Price, 2) Experience in designing museum effects systems, 3) Experience in installing museum effects systems, 4) Past Performance. Price is considered approximately equal in importance to the other evaluation factors. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Place of contract performance is the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center Museums, Building 1607, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. See Note 1.
