Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to extend Contract DCA200-99-C-5001, a firm fixed price contract, on a sole source basis. The contract currently will expire on 13 July 2001, and will be extended through 13 January 2002, with options to extend the contract for up to a one year period. The purpose of this extension is to provide continuous, uninterrupted service as a bridge between the existing contract and the new competitive award currently being worked. This contract currently provides the maintenance service and support to the Department of Defense (DOD) video teleconferencing (VTC) systems. The contractor is Lucent Technologies Inc, I-85 & Mt Hope Church Rd, Greensboro, NC 27420-6048. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). All responsible sources may submit a proposal by 30 Jun 01.
