Description

This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by various companies in the aerospace hardware industry, with the majority of items manufactured by Deutsch(14798)and Eaton(00624), as well as competitive items made in accordance with Government specifications/drawings. All NSNs are available for download under the "Acquisitions Downloads" menu item on DSCC Internet Bid Board Systems(DIBBS) under subject heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations". Access is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dscccols.com. Access is also available via the World Wide Web (WWW)at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate contracts/cc.asp See Note(s) 9,23 and 26 apply(ies). This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of July 11,01/ Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Drawings are posted with the solicitation on the DSCC solicitation web-site. If the drawings are not posted with the solicitation, see Clause L07 -- Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL,MILITARY COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretio of the government. The total duration(base plus option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 4730. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
