- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for janitorial services which will encompass four facilities located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Included among these facilities is Andrew W. Breidenbach Environmental Research Center, EPA's largest Cincinnati facility. This procurement is set aside for firms that have received certification under the Small Business Administration 8(a) Program, specifically for firms that have their headquarters office located in the state of Ohio. Only offers received from eligible 8(a) Program participants with a headquarters office located in the state of Ohio will be considered for contract award. Offers received from firms that are not certified under the Small Business Administration 8(a) Program will not be considered for contract award. Furthermore, offers received from otherwise eligible 8(a) Program participants that do not have a headquarters office in the state of Ohio will not be considered for contract award. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials and labor to perform the required services. The required janitorial services will be performed under a Performance Based Statement of Work where a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan will be in force and used to assess the contractor's performance against EPA's established custodial standards. Financial deductions will be taken for sub-standard performance. U.S. EPA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with a base period of 12 months. The contract will contain options for three (3) additional 12 month performance periods, which if exercised, makes the potential total contract performance term, 48 months. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about July 13, 2001 with responses due 30 days thereafter. Request for Proposal PR-CI-01-12222 will be available for downloading from U.S. EPA's World Wide Web (WWW) site at http://www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd. No telephone requests will be honored.
