- Description
- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared by the National Park Service in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. Q5560010301 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and will be awarded as a purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23511; the size standard is $11.5 million. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The solicitation items are as follows: Provide and install one (1) five-ton Liebert Challenger unit with condensate pump, air-cooled, reheat/humidification, digital thermostat, roof-mounted dry cooler; provide the labor required to remove the existing unit, pump and dry cooler, certified recovery of refrigerant, crane and rigging services; provide the labor and materials required to modify the existing air distribution system to allow a more uniform room temperature and humidity; provide and install all refrigerant piping, tie-ins with the existing sheet metal supply duct; provide all insulation services and startup and verification of the new installation. All items are Brand name or Equal (Descriptive literature must accompany quote). F.O. B. Point: Destination Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, 450 Auburn Ave. NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30312. Delivery Required: Please state delivery time on quote, inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Price and 2. Shortest delivery time. Vendors responding to this RFQ should provide this office with the following: A price quote on company letterhead for the requested items showing unit price, delivery time after receipt of order, payment terms, remittance address; and a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. This form may be requested from the Contracting Officer by FAX (404) 562-3256. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in the offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for the receipt of offers. Quotes are due Close of Business (4:00 p.m. EST) June 29, 2001 and shall be sent with DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE to the National Park Service, Attn: Demetria Smith-Wilson, 100 Alabama Street, SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
