Description

This acquisition is being accomplished under full and open procedures and will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The scope of work includes but is not limited to complete replacement of the hydronic heating system in two mechanical rooms in the Eielson AFB housing area, and replacing the underground portion of the heating between several buildings. Some modifications to the steam piping system are also required. Electrical work is essentially limited to the connection of mechanical devices and primary pumps. Minor wall repair/painting is also required. The NAICS for this acquisition is 235110 with a size standard of $11.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
