- Synopsis Work consists of but not limited to providing all plant, labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to abate asbestos/lead base paint in areas of work, fix leaks on built-up roof system, repair roof, upgrade electrical supply system, upgrade lighting system to boost illumination levels in some areas, renovate latrines, expand dock area at Nellis AFB, NV. The performance period will be 180 calendar days. The estimated total value of this contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The proposed contract is unrestricted and open to all firms, including small and small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. A price evaluation preference may be given to HUBZone firms. A small business subcontracting plan (with separate goals for small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns) will be required to be negotiated prior to and included in the award of this project if it is made to a large business concern. The successful contractor will be selected using past performance/price tradeoff procedures, resulting in Best Value to the Government. The applicable NAICS code is 23331 with a three year average annual small business size standard of $27.5 million. The solicitation will be issued electronically o/a 30 Jun 01 on the government Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. NOTE: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number form Dunn & Bradstreet. Registering may take up to three (3) weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
