Description

The project consists of plumbing replacement for water system and drain lines in the Service Wing of the PNW Corvallis Forestry Sciences Lab. Water system includes main service line into building and distribution lines throughout the building. The existing piping is mostly steel galvanized piping and some copper pipe. All water piping to be replaced with Type "L" copper and dielectric unions where steel and copper lines connect. All waste drain piping to be replaced with Schedule 40 PVC. The project is located at the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Lab, Siuslaw National Forest, Benton County, Oregon. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The successful offeror shall be required to submit a payment bond prior to start of work. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled on the work site for July 20, 2001. Contract time is 30 calendar days. Estimated start work date is August 20, 2001. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business concerns.
