Description

Provide all labor, vehicles and materials, be fully licensed, equipped and staffed to provide Ground Ambulance Services to transport scheduled (non-emergent) VA Medical Center beneficiaries as directed; offeror must have a base of operations at which the physical plant houses ambulances, related equipment and personnel; provide appropriate personnel, vehicles, and equipment to provide a level of care so as to ensure that life-threatening situations and potentially serious injuries can be recognized for Basic Life, Advanced Life and Critical Care Advanced Life Ground Ambulance Services . Line Item quantities will be based on historical data from the previous 12 months at time of issuance. Pricing will include incidental and miscellaneous costs associated with any transport at a Base Rate to include the first 10 loaded miles and a 15 minute wait time. A one year contract, October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 will be issued with the intent of awarding to a single provider for all services, if that results in best value to the government Proposal documents will be available on or about July 18, 2001.
