Description

DESC: The contractor shall provide Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance transportation for the period 8/01/01 -- 7/31/02 with two one-year renewal options. Service will be for emergency ambulance transportation of veterans from Prestonsburg Primary Care Clinic, Prestonsburg Kentucky to the VA Medical Center 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV. Ambulance service must be available Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time, excluding Government Holidays. Contractor must be located within a 15 mile radius of Prestonsburg, KY. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, pharmaceutical drugs, medical supplies, equipment, vehicles, facilities and other items and expertise necessary for or incidental to provide ambulance services. Interested parties must be in full compliance with the standards designated by the State of Kentucky and meet all requirements of Federal, State and City codes.
