- Description
- This is a sources sought/market survey to determine if there are any qualified sources to provide maintenance of solar turbine Generators. The SSA is seeking information from qualified firms for preventive and remedial maintenance services on three (3) Government-owned Turbine Generators in use at the National Computer Center, Social Security Administration located in Baltimore (Woodlawn) Maryland. The following equipment will be maintained: three (3) Turbine-Driven Generator Sets, Model Number GE1-MA-EM; three (3) Mars Turbine Engines, Model T-MA-2; three (3) Synchronous Generators, Model Number, Electric Machinery MFG. CO P/N100Y676G01 (the rating on each generator is 900KVA, 7200 KW, .9PF. 13,200 volts); and three (3) solar Turbotronic control panels, model number CTL001. This is not a request for proposal. The purpose of this notice is to identify qualified firms to meet the government's requirement. SSA is seeking information from sources, which have previous experience in the work identified and the necessary high-quality resources, which would qualify them for a possible award. Organizations having the required experience and factory certified technical capabilities are invited to submit complete documentation discussing such capabilities. Information provided should include company background information, including a statement as to the firm's business size, and a detailed description of relevant experience. Documentation should address the following: Experience-This information should contain an outline for work experience on engines and generators as listed above, including duration of the project, whether work was performed as a prime or subcontractor, and names and telephone numbers for references (a minimum of three); Personnel-Identify the professional qualifications and specific experience of technical personnel who may be assigned to this project; Parts-Identify your ability to provide all parts. Submit all information to the point of contact within 45 days from publication of this notice. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of any information submitted; nor does it intend to pay for the information solicited or received. =20
