Description

The Division of Cancer Epidemiology & Genetics, National Cancer Institute intends to negotiate a three year contract and two option years with University of Illinois for a contract entitled, "Database Support for the Chornobyl Thyroid Study in the Ukraine." The University of Illinois has an established data center in Kyiv, Ukraine which includes staff with expertise in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. This contract will support data entry activities associated with the epidemiologic study, "Thyroid Cancer and Other Thyroid Diseases in Ukraine Following the Chornobyl Accident." The University of Illinois will provide on-site processing of at least 13 different data forms generated during this study. The contractor will translate all key entry and coding manuals, data documentation, and forms into English. The statutory authority for this noncompetitive acquisition is 41 USC 253(c)(1) as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. See numbered Note 22. No collect calls will be accepted.
