Description

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The work involves investigations to conduct a series of batch and column studies to support future field-scale gas-phase partitioning tracer testing. Work is to be initiated in the summer of 2001 and will be conducted over a one-year period. Work will include but not be limited to (a) Task 1 -- Conduct batch-scale tests to select gas-phase nonpartitioning and partitioning tracers; (b) Task 2 -- Assess variation in NAPL-gas partition coefficients with changing NAPL composition due to weathering or volatilization; and Task 3 -- Demonstrate 'proof of concept' of NAPL saturation estimation in column studies. Interested firms should submit information on their scientific qualifications (staff qualifications and journal publications), previous similar technical experience, and ability to meet required performance schedule. Firm's submission should also indicate whether the firm is a Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, Woman-owned Small Business, HUB Zone, Veteran Owned, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business. The NAICS Code is 541620 with a Small Business Standard of $5,000,000.00.
