Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation, and therefore, a formal written quotation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The Television-Audio support Activity intends to procure the following: eleven each Custom Furniture c/o Editing Console Tabletop w/monitor bridge; two equipment mounting bays under table top; three 3RU rack bays between counter top and monitor bridge; monitor bridge to support 3-EA 21-IN monitors; ergonomic heights must be incorporated for table top and monitor bridge; specifications are: location of 3RU bays: L/C/R just under monitor bridge; equipment bays: one bay to be minimum 12RU, located at right end under table top with front and rear rails; second bay configured to house AA Tower CPU and contain partion/shelving for storage; CPU equipment bay to ship with optional front and rear equipment mounting rails (not attached); must be user configurable for equipment mounting by simply removing the CPU partition and shelf and mounting the front/rear rails into pre drilled holes; height of monitor bridge: not greater than 39-IN must allow direct access to equipment from above table top: height of edit table top: not less than 28-IN, not greater than 30-IN; depth of edit table: not less than 25-IN, not greater than 60-IN should offer maximum workspace within space constraints; depth total: total depth of system not to exceed 60-IN; width total: total width of system not to exceed 72-IN. Color shall be: gray or charcoal with black overlay. Standard commercial warranty required. The furniture shall be delivered FOB destination to Television-Audio Support Activity, McClellan, California not later than 60 days after receipt of order. The final destination will be at eleven different locations. Therefore, each complete furniture system must be packaged separately (eleven complete packages). All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 01 Jul 01, 1300 PST.
