Description

On or about Monday, Monday, June 25, 2001 plans and specifications will be available for the repavement project of a parking lot (formerly the Vehicle Maintenance Facility) located at 135 "A" Street, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Work involves construction of a parking lot of approximately 100,000 sf. The work includes, but is not limited to, earthwork, site utilities, site lighting, fencing and bituminous concrete pavement. Other work includes protection of adjacent structures and property, erosion and sedimentation control measures. The estimated cost of the work is between $290,000.00 and $350,000.00 with construction completion no later than 105 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. There will be a preproposal meeting held on site (135 "A" Street, Boston, MA) on Wednesday, July 11, 2001, beginning at 1:00 p.m. to discuss project specifics. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly suggested. On-site visits may be arranged by contacting Brian Houlihan at (617) 654-5952.
