Description
Potential sources are sought to provide Laundry services for David Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB, CA. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, transportation, facilities and supplies to clean, launder, repair of government materials. Linen will be weighed in pounds and counted by number of pieces. A separate container will be required for transporting clean and soiled linen. The government will provide used/serviceable plastic wheeled laundry carts for transportation of soiled/clean linen to and from David Grant Medical Center. All linen from David Grant Medical Center shall be handled as contaminated. The laundry workload is estimated at 665,000 pounds per year. In addition, it's estimated that 84 Cardio System Comforters will be included annually. The contract will be awarded for the Basic bid period and 4 one-year option periods. The NAICS Code is 812331. The contractor is subject to an annual inspection by the California State Department of Public Health or Travis AFB to ensure compliance with California Administrative Code, Title 22. Potential bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Register System (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. All sources must include their business size, experience in laundering hospital linen and whether a facility is available to perform laundry services. This is not a solicitation.
